GAT d.o.o. is currently in the process of implementing a project to improve innovative capacities in MSMEs in export-oriented sectors. The Program is jointly funded by the EU and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). It is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH (hereinafter referred to as GIZ) as the leading organization together with the UNDP and the ILO as co-delegates in accordance with the Co-Delegation Agreement with the EU. One of the funded items of this project was the purchase of a TWISTER shot blasting machine that allows up to 100 parts to be machined simultaneously in one cycle, providing energy savings of up to 90%. The machine has a vacuum system that allows a cleaner shot blasting process as well as the economical use of abrasives.
